REMINGTON SHAVERS

How long will it take for my beard and skin to adjust to my new Remington shaver?
We recommended that you use your new shaver daily for two or three weeks to allow time to find the optimum shaving method for your particular beard type and hair growth patterns (direction) for each area of your face and neck.
When is it time to replace my shaver's foils and cutters?
It is very important to replace your foils and cutters when necessary to ensure a close, comfortable shave without irritation. We recommend that foils/screens be replaced every 6 months and cutters be replaced every 12 months.

As foils get excessively worn there may be some skin irritation. This would be especially noticed when applying after shave lotion. When the cutters wear, you may feel a sense of "pulling" and a loss of closeness when you have. This is an indication that it is time to replace your cutters and foil. Visually check for any signs that the cutters have worn through the foils. It is always best when replacing the cutters to replace the foil at the same time.
How often should my shaver be serviced?
To keep your shaver at peak performance we recommend a tune-up every year.
Can I change the rechargeable nicad battery in my shaver?
Battery replacement is a repair that must be performed by a Remington Authorized Service Center.
My rechargeable shaver is at the end of its life? How do I dispose of the nickel-cadmium battery contained inside?
When your shaver reaches the end of its useful life, the batteries must be removed from the shaver and recycled or disposed of properly in accordance with your local and provincial requirements. Refer to your Use and Care manual for battery removal instructions.

CAUTION: Do not put in fire or mutilate your batteries when disposing, as they may burst or release toxic materials. Do not short circuit as it may cause burns. Dispose of properly in accordance with your local and provincial requirements.
